Would have been a great property if it had have been prepared adequately prior to our arrival Positive: Location was great and the property was well equipped and comfortable. The letting agents were responsive to the issues we reported Negative: The property was not prepared well before we arrived and did not, therefore, meet the property details listed by the agents for the first 5 days of our stay. The fire alarms were beeping and kept us awake The hot water was broken The dishwasher didn’t work There was no gas supply so we couldn’t use the cooker The en-suite bathroom had an intermittent small infestation of insects All of these issues were eventually resolved by the letting agency but they did significantly impact on the quality and functionality of 1/4 of our holiday The agents were not prepared to compensate us for our discomfort and inconvenience
